After teaching history for 34 and retiring in northern Georgia I decided to take advantage of the Georgia law that allows people over the age of 62 to attend universities for free. Although I was a history teacher, I did not have a degree in history. After graduation I returned to college to earn a teaching certificate and I also took enough history credits to be able to teach the course. I attend the University of North Georgia to finally earn a history degree (with a minor in German). This website is related to a series of projects for History 3010 (Digital History). In these projects I plan to share different aspects of the history of my home town, Miami, Florida. Stay tuned!
